Event Presentation — PowerPoint & Google Slides

Event presentation slides built in PowerPoint and Google Slides

The brief

LifeTender designs and runs incentive travel programmes, and this project was the event deck for a client programme: an “Event Contract” presentation prepared especially for Jessica Powell at RNDC, presenting a proposed incentive trip to Key West, Florida, running 22–25 September 2022.

The deck was built in both PowerPoint and Google Slides, and built large-format for stage projection. It had to hold a live audience from the opening slide — these decks are revealed in a room, often on a big screen, often as the centrepiece of the announcement — while still carrying the contractual detail underneath: the proposed agenda day by day, the programme inclusions, and the terms the client was being asked to approve.

The challenge

Event decks live with a contradiction. They are read at a distance, in ambient light, at the pace a presenter chooses — which argues for huge type and almost no detail. But the audience here is approving a real programme with real money attached, which argues for precision: dates, timings, what is included, what LifeTender handles, what it doesn’t.

There is a second job, too. An incentive trip deck is selling an experience to the people who will sell it internally and excite the eventual guests. The destination has to feel irresistible on screen. Spreadsheets of logistics don’t do that; photography and pacing do — but the logistics still have to be in the room when the questions start.

What we did

We designed the deck as a reveal first and a document second. Full-bleed Key West photography carries the experience — the water, the marina, the sunset — inside a consistent dark teal and orange system, with the event branding (“LifeTender”) and the personalised contract cover up front: prepared especially for the named client, which sets the tone that this programme was designed, not templated.

The agenda is broken down day by day in a strict, scannable grid, so timings survive the big screen. Programme inclusions are set as clean checklists rather than paragraphs — accommodation, meals, activities, transfers — letting the client verify completeness at a glance. LifeTender’s own services get a dedicated slide: a single point of contact handling reservations, transportation, activities, meals and on-site support, which is the reassurance slide the whole contract rests on. Pricing is presented in the client’s summary format — per person and total group — as clean cards rather than a dense table, so the commercial conversation stays as composed as the rest of the deck.

The deck

Because the deck exists in both PowerPoint and Google Slides, the client could present from the stage, share a link for review, and keep an editable master for the next programme. Large-format design rules were applied throughout: type sized for the back of the room, one idea per slide, and contrast checked for projection rather than for a monitor.

Event decks have seconds to work and months to be re-read. Ours are built for both. See our pitch deck design services for event and keynote work, and presentation design pricing for the package structure.
