Who we are
DeckBolt is a pitch deck and presentation design studio founded by Adnan Tariq. This policy covers deckbolt.com. For any privacy question or request, email hello@deckbolt.com.
What we collect and why
Contact form. When you use our contact form we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply and to discuss your project.
AI assistant. Our website assistant is an AI. To generate each reply, your chat messages are sent to Google’s Gemini service. We do not store chat conversations on our server; they stay in your browser tab until you close it. If you choose to press “Send to DeckBolt” and tick the consent box, we store your name, email, company (optional) and project summary privately on our website and email them to our team. These inquiries are deleted automatically after 365 days. Google may process chat messages under its own terms and may use them to improve its services, so please do not share confidential information in the chat.
Abuse protection. To stop spam, the assistant uses a one-way scrambled version of your IP address for up to one hour. We cannot turn it back into your IP address.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Google Search Console, through Google Site Kit, to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are read. Google Analytics uses cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
WhatsApp and email. If you contact us on WhatsApp or by email, we receive what you send, along with your number or address. WhatsApp handles messages under its own privacy policy.
Project files. Files you send for a project are used only to deliver that project. We sign a mutual NDA before you send anything, on request.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not ask for passwords or payment card details through this website.
Who processes data for us
Our website is hosted by Hostinger. Google provides analytics, Search Console, fonts and the AI service behind our assistant. WhatsApp (Meta) handles WhatsApp messages. Each processes data under its own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
Assistant inquiries: 365 days. Emails and project correspondence: as long as needed to deliver the project and for our business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@deckbolt.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date above.
