B2B Investor Pitch Deck — FinTech SaaS

B2B investor pitch deck slides for a fintech SaaS platform

The brief

This deck was built for a fintech SaaS platform working in open banking: CSISS “My Data,” which gives accounting software access to bank data under Australia’s Consumer Data Right. The company operates as an accredited data recipient, connecting accounting platforms to balance, transaction and product data from the major Australian banks, with the account holder’s consent.

It is a B2B product sold into a regulated market, and the deck had to serve two conversations at once — investors assessing the business, and the commercial story behind it. The requirement we set for the design was simple to state and hard to do: the growth model had to be legible in a single pass.

The challenge

Open banking is exactly the kind of product that buries its own story. Accreditation regimes, consent flows, data standards and bank-by-bank integrations are all genuinely important — and any one of them can swallow a slide deck whole. An investor who has to stop and decode the plumbing stops reading the business.

There is also a trust problem to design around. A platform that asks to sit between banks, accounting software and their customers has to look as reliable as the institutions it connects. A deck that feels loose or improvised works against the product before a word is read.

What we did

We led with the product in use rather than the technology behind it. The opening visual puts the platform on a phone: the CSISS My Data interface, the bank connections it offers, and the consent journey a user actually takes — “I want to use Open Banking data,” the data types they agree to share, the account connection itself. In one screen, an investor understands what the product is, who it serves and how it earns its place.

The regulatory proof points are kept visible but compact. Accreditation under the Consumer Data Right and the platform’s data-recipient status appear as credentials, not chapters — present enough to reassure, brief enough not to stall the story. Around that spine, the deck follows our standard investor structure: the problem, the solution, the market logic and the model, with every headline stating the point of its slide and every chart rebuilt around a single message. Nothing in the deck requires the presenter in the room to make sense, because investor decks are usually read by people who never meet you.

The deck

The design is light, clean and product-led, working in the client’s own green and blue identity. Where most fintech decks default to dark, dense dashboards, this one uses white space and a single device mock-up to do the explaining — a deliberate choice for a product whose entire promise is making bank data feel simple.

The result is a deck an accounting-software partner or an investor can read in minutes and still come away with the whole model: what it connects, whose data it moves, and why that position is valuable.

If your product is technical but your audience isn’t, that translation is the job. Our pitch deck design services cover the full build, and presentation design pricing lays out the fixed packages — no hourly billing, no surprises.
